Job Description: the King County delegates to the Executive Board of King County Democrats represent the 36th District and report to the membership at regular meetings. (Article VII, Section 2c of Bylaws)
Additional Responsibilities: The KCDCC delegates shall solicit from the Executive Board and General membership input on upcoming monthly King County Democratic Central Committee (KCDCC) meetings and shall post these meetings and solicitations on the website.
When KCDCC has events, forums and large public meetings, the KCDCC delegates will be responsible for communicating and turning out 36th district membership to KCDCC events.
Ideally, KCDCC delegates will provide live blog updates of the meeting for folks to keep apprised in real time of the events as they unfold at the meetings.
The KCDCC delegates may represent the 36th District on any KCDCC subcommittees and shall solicit input and report activity to the membership and Executive board where appropriate.
A prepared brief report of the officers’ previous month’s worth of activities and status updates on ‘to-do’s is due two days prior to the Executive Board meeting.
Who May Run: Female voting members in good standing (paid membership dues at any time from the reorg meeting to no more than one year prior OR a current PCO).
Who May Vote on This Position: Any voting member in good standing may vote for this position.
