Short Biography:
I'm a 30-year Washington resident, Vietnam era Veteran who served two tours. I'm married with two children, and my strengths lie in understanding people, networking, experience garnered in building effective teams, project management, and coalition-building.
As a Union Representaive, business owner, devoted husband and father, I'm not afraid to roll up my sleeves and pitch in. I've been an active member of the Machinist Union since 1976 and have served in numerous local lodge and district positions in addition to being a past member of the Washington State Workforce Training Board, and the first co-director of the Quality Through Training Program.
Currently, I serve as a Seattle Vocational Institute Advisory Board member, Precinct Caucus Committeeman, Delegate to the State Democratic Convention, and a Union Organizer.
Politically speaking, I've been working the Get Out the Vote for the past 16 years registering voters, bringing volunteers and activists into the party, promoting Labor and labor issues--including most recently, co-sponsoring the Tanker Resolution at the 36th Legislative District Caucus, and coalition-building with Clinton supporters on behalf of the Obama campaign.
I'm a voice for Labor, Veterans, Health Care, Racial & Economic Parity, and Justice.
